Reflecting on three years

At the end of June, we submitted our final report to the Heritage Lottery Fund, summing up our achievements over the past three years.report title page

It has been a wonderful time of renewal and progress at Great St Mary’s, with many highlights.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers, to Margaret Johnston who wrote the original HLF funding bid which made the project possible, to every visitor and school who attended one of our heritage events, and of course to the Heritage Lottery Fund!

We are excited about continuing the Heritage Project in the coming years – I will be continuing three days a week to expand our programme for schools and language schools, offer six Summer at the Museums family events, and plan for an exciting Open Cambridge day celebrating Cambridge Market through time, in partnership with Cambridge BID.

We will also be moving over to a brand new website shortly which will be an excellent showcase for all our activities and make it easier for local people and visitors to get a sense of all Great St Mary’s has to offer.
